ABOUT

SOINNO HUB

Our Story

SOINNO Hub acts as an online repository to provide inspiring cases and examples of social innovation experiences and of design thinking applications to the community. We aim to facilitate the acquisition of related content and resources by sharing the know-how of proven, effective, and innovative solutions for practitioners to adopt and adapt in order to help develop and scale their own ideas that drive social change, and thus a wider collaborative network for social innovation involvement can be nurtured.

Organiser

PolyU Jockey Club "Operation SoInno"

Organised by the Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the 3-year social innovation programme is to innovate solutions, in collaboration with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, to respond to social challenges with a view to improving life in Hong Kong. The whole programme consists of four inter-linked key components, namely (i) the “One from Hundred Thousand” Social Innovation Symposium Series, (ii) SOINNO Action Projects, (iii) SOINNO Education, and (iv) SOINNO Knowledge Platform. The programme would engage the trans-disciplinary forces of academia, non-governmental organisations, professional bodies, members of the public, corporations and the Government to generate innovative ideas and practical actions.
